Peace
rich kind of miracle i log on
to the radio lick antenna
to hear that another border
has drowned and the waves
are raping the cliffs
and there are hysterics
pop then frenzy-drive
quiz myself on form
whether it’s legal to
t h r o w the words onto
each other like lab
mice shaking spitting
finewhitepill red pores
iv like violin string
lucky that i’m tired
and won’t be stepping out
so when did the country turn
whip you forget my father
is dying an-other
i will not live to serve
a truer word was spoken
a minute ago something
very far away is dying
